It is our pleasure to welcome you to The Open Door Café. As part of St Michaels Church in Budbrooke, the vision of our not-for-profit charity café is to reach out to and serve the local community in a way which is consistent with Christian values and which provides for Christian mission. www.stmichaels-budbrooke.org.uk
We are open: Monday to Fridays only. During term time 08:30-12:00.
The Open Door has been running for many years and has become a popular and vibrant place for the young and old. We take pleasure in providing a relaxed and social meeting place and we are a popular destination for those with small children and families who can enjoy the small range of toys, books and of course the “Super Jack” train in the childrens corner.
As soon as you walk into the café we hope you will notice the difference between ourselves and other high street coffee shops. We are run mostly by the kindness and support of volunteers (many have been with us for a number of years). We are happy to sit and chat with you so never feel lonely!
We are a hub of the community. Parents gather here after before and after school drop off. Families during the day along with pensioners who are encouraged to utilise our special “Bus Pass Club” offers. We really do rely on the support of our customers, so please think about how we could fit in with the rhythm of your weekly routine
Come and try our fresh brewed coffee, tea or hot chocolate, a selection of cold drinks are also available. Enjoy a delicious cake, or select something from our extensive ‘lite-bite’ menu.
We stock Fair Trade and local crafts, and regularly run events and classes to keep everyone entertained.
